A creative community includes more than the most visible part of the performance.

Your major does not own all of your attention
Creative work can be serious without becoming another credential. Molly's story shows how an activity outside the programme can supply friendship, risk and a different way to use the city. Ask how auditions, casting and technical roles are decided, and whether newcomers can receive feedback or support. If the first production is not a fit, keep the creative practice through a smaller workshop, an audience habit or a different company rather than treating one closed door as the end of the art.
